SHIPPING POLICY AND ILLINOIS USDA LAW

On Sept. 18, 2013 the USDA published new regulations designed to regulate Internet-based puppy sells. The law will require USDA licensing for breeders who own at least 5 breeding females or more , and sell animals as pets sight unseen ( photos ) online. USDA Licensing is NOT required for Animal Welfare state licensed breeders who sell animals in face-to-face transactions.

Therefore, Bitsy Baby Kennels who is Licensed by The Dep. Of Animal Welfare in the state of ILLINOIS will not be shipping any puppies sight unseen. (We are NOT USDA ) All prospective buyers will be required to Drive, Fly, use Amtrack , or send an approved representative to meet for pick up of the new puppy.

Puppies can be transported as carry-on , on flights and trains. You as the buyer must set up your own pick up arrangements with public transportation. We will meet at Near by Airports or Train stations for your convenience at no extra charge. If you need us to meet you to help with your driving time we will gladly do so within 1 hour from our home. As long as it does not require us to cross the ILLinois state line. That would save you up to 2 hours off your whole trip.
